19 Days--Lots of new news!

This weekend I had the opportunity to speak at my church. I talked about the history of Rwanda and our plans. I would like to thank everyone who was able to support me through donations. I can't wait to come back and tell everyone about my trip! I will have lots of pictures to share.

I am starting to get nervous about packing! I've never traveled for this long, so it's kind of scary. Our London layover is through the day, so we have to live out of our carry-on for almost three days. I'm sure it will all work out. It's getting closer and closer!!

Less than one month!

We leave for our trip of a lifetime in less than one month. We are spending time now researching the areas we will be visiting and learning as much as we can about the culture before we depart. I watched the movie Hotel Rwanda for the first time and it gave me an even better insight about Rwanda and it's history. It's a very inspirational story, and a must see for anyone interested.
